What it is
UKMWI, the UK's Most Watched Index, ranked the top 100 UK companies by how much public attention they got each week. I rolled attention, sentiment and momentum into one composite score, and added sector and regional breakdowns so you could see where things were moving. Simple idea, really. Who's rising, who's fading.
Who it's for
Anyone who wanted a quick read on which UK companies were rising or fading from public view. That's it, that's the audience.
How it works
- Attention in. A steady weekly feed of fresh attention data for each company.
- Sentiment and momentum. AI sentiment scoring plus momentum indicators, sitting on top of the raw attention numbers.
- One score. Everything combined into a composite score, then a weekly top 100 to read at a glance.

Why is UKMWI paused?
UKMWI is paused because an index like this only means something with a steady feed of fresh attention data. Keeping that going was pulling my time away from products that were already live and growing. So, July 2026, I paused it.
Is UKMWI coming back?
UKMWI is paused, not killed. I've left it on show because a studio that only shows its winners isn't really showing you much, is it?
