What it is
Hilyt hosts open, ungated profiles for people and businesses. Each one is served as real HTML, schema.org JSON-LD and a plain-text LLM card, with dated claims that carry a source. There's also a free check on whether AI can read your site at all.
Who it's for
Anyone who has asked ChatGPT about themselves and got nothing, or got someone else. Most professional profiles sit behind a login wall, so assistants can't read them.
How it works
- Create a profile. Set up a person or an organisation, on a stable public URL with no login wall.
- Add sourced claims. Add roles, founding dates and work, each with a date where known and a link that backs it up.
- Served for crawlers. Real HTML that needs no JavaScript, Person or Organization JSON-LD, and a plain-text card at /<username>/llm.txt.
- Keep it current. A public API and MCP server let an AI assistant maintain the profile for you.

What is an AI-readable profile?
An AI-readable profile is an open web page about one person or organisation that an AI system can fetch, parse and cite. That means crawlable HTML, schema.org identity markup, dated claims with sources, and ideally a plain-text version. Hilyt publishes all four.
Can ChatGPT read my LinkedIn profile?
Usually not. LinkedIn profiles sit behind a login wall, and that's why Hilyt profiles are deliberately ungated.
Does Hilyt guarantee that AI assistants will cite me?
No, Hilyt doesn't guarantee that AI assistants will cite you. It makes you readable and citable, but whether an assistant names you depends on the assistant, the question and the sources it finds.
